There are no shortcuts for selecting and cooking great meat cuts. Meat is usually the center of many a dinner party or restaurant dining experience. Just like expensive wine, there are a few things to know about selecting your meat. Come and discover individual cooking methods and cooking secrets for meat cuts.

The class starts with a market tour where you will visit Gary the Butcher at the Prahran market to educate you about different types of farming methods, age, and rearing of different meats used in a cooking session.

You will learn how to make curries, slow cooks and pot roasts as well as panfrying, curing, marinating, crusting crumbing and Sous vide cooking of meats without any devices. The recipes are a mix from around the world, so you will experience some new and exciting flavors while witnessing all the techniques imaginable to cook meat perfectly!
