WALTER Trupp, the Austrian chef who began his Australian career at Langton’s, has opened a cooking school in Prahran. Trupp, who was involved with the Marco Pierre White empire in Britain before emigrating in 2002 has opened Trupp Cooking School with his nutritionist wife. Since leaving Langton’s in 2005 Trupp has been concentrating on teaching, working at CAE, William Angliss and the Victoria Market. His new venture ”combines the teachings of masterful home cooking skills with an appreciation of eating for optimal health and wellbeing”, says a press release.
